Nall Hills Baseball

Nall Hills Baseball, looking forward to our 49th year in 2011, is for players age 6-14. Our motto is "Skills, not Scores" and we achieve this by using flexible rules that create a fun, neighborhood atmosphere. Team practices will start in early April with games starting the end of April or early May, and ending before the 4th of July. Games are played on Saturdays (and maybe Sundays) and early weekday evenings, at fields in the Nall Hills area. You do NOT have to be a Nall Hills resident for your child to play.

2011 Registration

Registration for the 2011 season will open in February. A link to the registration form will be available here. As detailed below, due to unprecedented growth the past few seasons, we are not able to accept new teams this season, except in Tee-Ball. Players new to Nall Hills Baseball are welcome to register and we will do our best to find them a team.

What Makes Nall Hills Baseball Better?

Nall Hills Baseball has a neighborhood atmosphere. If you want to win at all costs, go somewhere else. If you want a positive baseball experience, Nall Hills Baseball is for you. Our motto is "Skills, not Scores".

We use fields located in and around Nall Hills. No more driving for 30 minutes to get to the ball field. And since we use local school and city fields there are no parking fees.

No sponsors or fund raising activities. Your fee covers everything from uniforms and team equipment, to fields and even umpires if needed for your division.

Boys and girls are invited to all divisions!

Each paid registration includes a uniform (t-shirt and cap), team photo, and two tickets to Nall Hills Day at the Royals. Additional tickets are available for a fee.

Practice and game schedules will be easily accessible on this web site. Coaches can have other information added, such as your drink and snack responsibilities for each game.

Divisions

Tee-ball: Intended for 6 year-olds, Kindergarteners, 8 games scheduled, with "reduced injury", cushioned baseballs for practice and games.

Coach Pitch: Intended for 7-8 year-olds, 1st & 2nd Graders, 9 games scheduled, with "reduced injury", cushioned baseballs.

Junior: Intended for 9-10 year olds, 3rd & 4th Graders, 10 games scheduled, with pitching machines and regulation baseballs.

Senior: Intended for 11-12 year olds, 5th & 6th Graders, 12 games scheduled, with players pitching and only a few rules differing from regulation baseball.

Varsity: Intended for 13-14 year olds, 7th & 8th Graders, 14 games scheduled, with players pitching and fewer rules differing from regulation baseball.

IMPORTANT! The divisions are based upon the age of your child on March 31, but your child (or whole teams) can always "play up" a division if they desire. We reserve the right to make exceptions in special circumstances to allow a child to "play down". Send us an e-mail and let us know about your situation.

How Teams Are Formed

Most seasons individuals and teams (whether partial or complete) are welcome to join Nall Hills Baseball. However, after more growth than we can handle, we will not accept new teams for the 2011 season, except in Tee-Ball or if a team is needed in another division to avoid an odd number of teams. Individuals may register for their team from last season or as a "free agent".
